PG Hydraulic Junk Basket

Application

PG hydraulic junk basket with reverse circulation retrieves bit cones and bearings, broken slips, bits of wire line, various hand tools, slivers and debris from twisted-off drill strings, milling cuttings.

Design

Hydraulic junk basket is connected to the string with the top sub. Apart from the top sub, the assembly includes body with a valve seat, a valve cup, a catcher and a mill shoe. The catcher is made of manganese bronze, furnished with alternating and long and short “fingers”, extended to the center of the tool.

The ball for activation of reverse circulation resides in special container in the top sub.

Hydraulic junk basket is available in right- and left-hand configurations, depending on thread direction, with several options of annular mill shoe, depending on abrasive-crushing welds-on – flat-bottom, wavy, geared, side wings.
